What exactly does that statement mean?  It represents my approach to custom golf club making and fitting.

It means there is a better way for golfers off all abilities to purchase golf equipment.

Golf is not an easy game, we all know that!  Yet, most individuals who take it up do so for a lifetime. There is something very special about golf.  That very special 'something' is different for all of us, but it does exist. It has to for us to play and appreciate such a difficult game for a lifetime!

What Can Frederickson Custom Clubs Do For You?

The answer to this question is very simple.

I'll work with you, one-on-one, in order to determine which specifications we need to concentrate on in order to build you a truly real set of custom golf clubs.  I'll spend as much time with you as necessary to achieve the goals we set for your game, unlike the salesman in the store who is only interested in whether or not you are going to buy those clubs you are looking at.

The club sale is the end of the game from the retail store's perspective.  Here, it's only the beginning. You get much more than just a new set of custom fitted golf clubs. You gain access your own personal clubmaker who is familar with you and your game!

If you happen to break a club or need to regrip your clubs, you know exactly who to bring them to.  In addition, I'll have the specs for each of your clubs and you can be confident that your club will be repaired to those same specs!

Lastly, you have a resource at your disposal that will give you truthful, unbiased answers to your equipment questions.

Ask the retail outlet if they will provide that level of ongoing service to you after the sale!

Certifications

I am a PCS Certified "Class A" clubmaker. The PCS is an organization founded by clubmakers, which promotes the custom golf club fitting and club making craft throughout the world. They have some very challenging certification tests and passing them isn't a given. You can be assured that a clubmaker who is PCS certified knows what he/she is doing and takes great pride in their work.

I am also a Level II Associate Member teaching professional with the World Golf Teachers Federation (WGTF).  I have been teaching golf for the past 3 years in addition to my custom club making and custom club fitting duties.

The Shop

I believe in using the "right tool for the job".  That means making sure I have the clubmaking equipment and software necessary to help validate and do things right the first time.  If you stop by, please remind me to show you around and explain the "tools of the trade".  I would be more than happy to do so!

Some of the tools and technology you will see in my shop include a frequency analyzer, a spine finder for golf shafts, a GolfAchiever II launch monitor for fitting, an MOI period counter and software for matching clubs, and many other gadgets that are used during a build.  Feel free to ask me how all this stuff works!
